Walker Modular have now completed their 1500 th bathroom pod for Premier Inn in the last 12 months! This work has been completed on the prestigeous London Airports development for the Aurora Group. All pods have been delivered on time and in full to a very challenging schedule of 50 per week. Spokesman Mr M J Poole ” Walker Modular are delighted to post this news as it confirms the company as being the largest steel bathroom pod manufacturer in Northern Europe. The new production facility is now running at an average of 100 steel bathroom pods per week. Walker Modular has recently completed the Mere Golf Hotel in Cheshire , this 5 star accommodation proves that all standard levels can be accommodated by the production facility.

University of Brighton Work Won

Record Week 365 bathroom pods Delivered

Walker Modular has just broken its all time record of bathroom pods delivered in a single week. This landmark achievement shows how far the company has come over the last five years. Numbers have significantly increased due to a massive influx of hotel work from clients such as Travelodge, Premier Inn and Holiday Inn. Average weekly pod production for the year now stands at 280 pods per week.

Phase Two Sussex University Won

Sussex University have specified Walker Modular bathroom pods for phase two of their 1000 bed redevelopment for their vibrant campus. Phase one has been completed successfully and the University were so impressed with their bespoke S3WB2 bathroom pod that they ordered them for the subsequent phase.
The bespoke bathroom pod is self cleaning and free from bacteria and fungus due to its unique bacterial shield.

Covent Garden Travelodge Hotel Opens for 2012 Olympics

Travelodge has opened their prestigious 250 bed hotel development in Covent Garden in time and on budget. The hotel has been opened to compliment the vast portfolio of hotels the chain has in our capital. The Covent garden scheme has been built with the international traveler in mind and has been finished just in time for the 2012 Olympic trade. Walker Modular provided 250 bathroom pods for this project.

New Records Hit ,300 pods per week

Well done to all, Walker Modular have just achieved a grand milestone of 300 pods per week. These pods are a very varied mix of Hotel Chains such as Travelodge, Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express combined with a large amount of student accommodation. The mix of work has also diversified with recent work being picked up for UK hospitals.
