Travelodge Newcastle Under Lyme Now Opened

Our first Travelodge has now opened for business. The Travelodge is based in Newcastle Under Lyme and features 100 of our new Travelodge Composite Bathroom pods. The Composite bathroom pod has been designed with anti bacterial agents within the pod wall, this will ensure that the pod will look good and be free from mould for the lifetime of ther Hotel. This new clean bathroom is available to view when you next stay at the Travelodge, or on a factory tour of our bathroom pod factory. Many more Travelodge Hotels featuring our new Travelodge Bathroom Pods are opening in 2010. Details soon !

Travelodge No More Tiles

As part of the ongoing Travelodge relationship , Traveldoge have confirmed that they no longer would like tiles in their ensuite bathroom pods.

MD Mr S Walker “ The use of the Walker Modular composite bathroom pod allows our clients the option of removing traditional tiling from their bathrooms. Our walls are made of similar material to corian, only unlike corian our wall surface is both antifungal and antibacterial. The bathroom will look as good in 10 years time as it does today. This leads to a lower lifecycle cost to the hotelier and a greater occupancy rate in the future. Areas that were once tiled now have our innovative granite effect tiled walling system.”

Travelodge Partnership Agreement

We are delighted to announce the greatly anticipated partnership between the Travelodge Hotel Group and Walker Modular Ltd. Walker Modular is now the specified sole supplier of bathroom pods to the Travelodge Hotel chain. Each new Travelodge Hotel room will incorporate a unique bathroom pod designed specifically for the Group. MD Mr S Walker

This news is terrific both for Walker Modular but also a boost for UK based manufacturing. I am immensely proud of our achievements to date the successful conclusion of this contract represents two years of development and hard work. To win such a contract is further affirmation that our bathroom pods truly are leaders in innovation and cutting edge technology.
